Well here we go round 13, we hope and after not playing last week, (first time I can remember being abandoned due to heat) and I'm sure most players will be itching to get out.
We have a couple of cracking games this week, including undoubtedly game of the round 2nd v 3rd.
Let's hope that the Covid outbreak at North Beach is under control and all effected players are healthy and well so we can complete a full round of fixtures.

9th placed Mosman Park host 4th placed South Perth in crucial game for both sides.
For Mosman Park they need to stop the rot and get back into the winners circle if they hope to avoid demotion, currently only 1 point behind 8th place Kardinya, so a win here at their home is vital to their chances.
South Perth on the other hand seem to have righted the ship after the somewhat slow start to the season and now find themselves sitting in the 4 and looking to consolidate. A win here and a loss for Sorrento and they could find themselves in 3rd spot and trending in the right direction.
South Perth 6-2

Osborne Park sitting 7th and 8 points out of the four, cannot afford to drop too many more games before their finals hope disappear. They have played well of late, albeit a last start loss at Manning, but they will be confident playing on their own turf and will no doubt look to make a statement in this game.
Safety Bay after being close have finally tasted victory and I have no doubt that will do their confidence the world of good. I can see them being competitive in this one but for me Osborne Park too strong at home.
Osborne Park 7-1

Should this game go ahead we see top of the ladder Doubleview make the daunting trip to North Beach and try solve the mystery of playing at North Beach.
We know North Beach are a much better side at home and for that reason they will give themselves a fighting chance in this one and keep themselves in the mix for a finals spot.
Doubleview were close in the corresponding fixture last year and appear to be heading into this game in some good form. They will no doubt believe they have what it takes to come away with the win and maintain top spot and push towards finals.
Doubleview 6-2

Game of the round, 2nd v 3rd and bragging rights on the line as Sorrento host Cambridge as they battle for that second spot on the ladder. Sorrento have been playing well all year especially at home and with a well rounded and even group of 16 they will go in with the knowledge that their best is as good as anyone.
Cambridge, reeling a little after dropping their last 2 games, will go into this game full of fire and will look to stamp their authority early and apply the pressure to Sorrento. They have 2 of the leading 5 skippers this year and their performance will carry the other rinks along.
Cambridge for me appear to have too many game changers in the side and for that reason I think they will bank the big end of the points.
Cambridge 6-2

Manning sitting 5th, equal on points with South Perth will be looking to maintain or improve their position and they to will be confident as they make their push in the final third of the season.
Kardinya also have a fight on their hands, unfortunately it is to stay away form the demotion spot and with so much to play for they will no doubt throw everything that have at Manning.
I think though Manning at home will have too many guns and will take the big ends of the points to keep themselves in the mix.
Manning 7-1
