Round 11 and we have the second of the return games and some very exciting games ahead of us this Saturday. Yet again another hot day and 40 degrees expected. It feels like the Summer that keeps giving. Some exciting games this weekend, Magpies v Swan in a must win game, Saints v Doggies in game of the round, View v Dolphins. Battle at Basso Lions v Wolves and the Blues looking to get back on track at home against the Mavericks.

7 v 1 Joondalup with confidence travel up to the View. The early season game was a doozy and went to the Dolphins by one shot at home and this will be another close game. I think the dolphins will continue their season with another W next to their name. I think and hope it’s going to be a banging game and will be decided in the last few ends. If the View are serious about not playing relegation finals this year, then they need to get some points or get the Win this week. The Dolphins will be too strong this week and will continue to extend the difference to the chasing pack.
Joondalup 7-1

6 v 2 Swan are playing tough bowls at the moment and they have a huge amount of pride at the moment and been slowly gathering momentum Magpies come off a tough lose to the doggies and desperately need a win this week as the chasing pack is one game ahead of them, This is one of the games that I believe to be a flip of a coin but I am believe Swannies 16 will be too strong for Magpies. Warwick are going to lose only just, and it will be a tough battle for both sides. Swan have come a long way since round 2 and will take the W in an upset
Swan 6-2

10 v 8 Stirling have been playing much better at the moment. The local lions know that green better than the back of their own hand. The Wolf pack always put up a battle but struggle a little off the carpet and I will be very interested to see the result Saturday evening. Lions have a solid 16 and been putting in some great games for not much return. Both of these sides want to stay in this division, and the Lions need to beat Stirling at home, I think Basso will edge the Wolves out in a close one.
Bassendean 6-2

3 v 4 It should be a very interesting game on Saturday as game of the round. Ossie Pk started well this season and have been playing solid bowls. The doggies showing a bit of bite and the Saints in Round 2 got the away win off the back of the Sandman getting touched up by Farrell. Since then, the Doggies have come full cycle and with the help of Voldemort being their lucky charm Yokine have become a solid 16 and they are a different side when they last played. The Saints have not fired against the top sides and traditionally the Saints have had the wood over the Doggies in the past, but I think this week the Doggies are travelling with confidence. There aren’t many weaknesses across the 4 lines for both sides and I really look forward to seeing how matches up with who. Pasalich v Golden boy would be excellent for the fans to see but I am going to go the Doggies in an upset.
Yokine 6-2

5 v 9 The Beach boys have had 2 away losses but as soon as they walk onto that synthetic green they are brimming with confidence. Mavericks will not bother the Blues this week not many teams bother them at home and the Blues desperately need a win to get back on track. Mavericks haven’t had much to crow about lately and this week they still won’t be crowing after Saturday.
North Beach 8-0
