What a round of fixtures with some great contests ahead. And contests between what appears to be evenly matched sides which will tell us a lot about where sides are, who are the better and who are not quite so good. Yokine v Mt Lawley, Swan v Mundaring and Quinns v Doubleview all sides that I suspect will be in contention for top 3 and finals at year end. Let the games begin.

Mt Lawley 2 from 3 and a I shot aggregate away loss, Yokine just 1 from 3 but they have played stronger opposition than Mt Lawley and did win their only home game against a good Doubleview side 7/1. The great fast greens at Yokine can be a handful for a visiting side and with a well balanced stable Yokine side I think that Yokine will prevail.

Wanneroo have been competitive without gaining aggregate whilst North Beach have only beaten Stirling and have lost a home game against Kalamunda. At the home of the Roos I am tipping a Wanneroo victory, though if the Beach boys can find the form we know they are capable of they will win.

This must be close to game of the round status. Mundaring yet to taste defeat and Swan just 1 from 3 but they have played the machine Quinns and Doubleview and lost both in close contests. Mundaring are quietly going about the business in a most impressive way but Swan at home will be tough. Both teams have solid claims however home ground advantage tips the scale for me.

The powerful Quinns side which appears destined for automatic promotion to 1 White against a very good Doubleview. I assume the teams will be largely unchanged and the Doubleview team that draws the Berez ring will have a tough day, they are in sensational form. But if the Berez rink does not get you, well the other Quinns rinks are no slouches either. Doubleview are good and on most occasions I would tip them, but against Quinns, no

And last by no means least a game that should result in Kalamunda being having won their first two away games a great achievement. Stirling will put up a fight, they have been winning rinks, it is just that each week a blow out rink makes aggregate unachieveable. Stirling have some quality players they just lack the depth of other 1 Blue sides, it will be a long year for them.
