Round 13 sees a fascinating series of matches with the top four sides pitted against each other and, at the other end of the table, the bottom four sides pitted against each other. The other fixture sees a battle of two teams on equal points, all adding to the results of these games shedding a little more light on the potential structure of the table at season’s end.
North Beach 4th v Sorrento 1st

NORTH BEACH
SORRENTO
We start with undoubtedly the match of the round. In the first round the Swans had a narrow win over the Blues by 7 shots. The Swans have now won their last 7 games and are the form team of the competition. The Blues pulled themselves out of a rut with a solid win against the Wizards in the last round. What a match to attempt to predict and it is a game where a draw would not be out of the question. However, one must favour the rampaging Swans.

Sorrento to win 6-2

Kalamunda 9th v Mt Pleasant 10th

KALAMUNDA
MT PLEASANT
In the first round the Mounties had a 14 shot win over the Tigers. We all know now things have changed at Bedford Road and they have one sole win in their last eight matches. The Tigers pulled off a massive away win to the Roosters and so will be very strong favourites to win up in the hills and possibly move themselves out of the dreaded bottom two places on the premiership ladder.

Kalamunda to win 8-0

Mosman Park 5th v Kardinya 6th

In the first round the Kats had an 18 shot win over the Mossies largely thanks to the Norm Ball rink. The Mossies boast an impressive home record with only losses to the Blues and the Wizards. On the contrary the away record of the Kats is nowhere nearly as impressive and they will probably struggle on the Mossies turf

Mosman Park to win 7-1

Osborne Park 7th v Cockburn 8th

OSBORNE PARK
COCKBURN
In the first round the Roosters gave the Saints a 31 shot hiding at Rockingham Road. That was when the Saints were on their horror four match losing sequence at the start of the season, but they are a much improved side these days. The away record of the Roosters to date boats just one drawn game to the Tigers and so it is extremely difficult to make a case for them, even though they desperately need some points.

Osborne Park to win 7-1

Warnbro 2nd v Thornlie 3rd

WARNBRO
THORNLIE
This will be an epic battle. In the first round the Ravens easily accounted for the Wizards with big wins on the Darren Lyons and Buddha Rewell rinks. The Ravens have the wood on the Ravens over the past few years and the Wizards will be keen to reverse this trend. The away record of the Ravens this season is none too flash with wins only against the cellar-dwelling Tigers and Mounties. However the Wizards have faltered badly in their last two home games which makes it such an enthralling contest. The Wizards might just return to form at home, but it will be very close.

Warnbro to win 6-2
